Recently I built a new system, specs below:
- 5800x

- 3080 tuf oc v2
- 32gb 3600mhz Ram

- Asus strix b550-f
- 850w msi gold psu
- Windows 10 home x64
Sometimes all apps on windows become unresponsive and freeze, there is no crash, and no error message from either event viewer (or a windows bluescreen)
Video of what happens > https://imgur.com/a/2YMKO9O
I was wondering if anyone has come across this before? or has any ideas on how I can fix this / what Is causing this, since I'm now at the point where I'm completely clueless as to how I can fix this

*edit*

Ram - Corsair Vengeance RGB pro - 8x4 same model

Storage - M.2 970 EVO Plus 2tb (gen 3 pcie, in the gen 4 compatible slot on mobo)
Bios should be up to date, when checking software for mobo, it says that it is all up to date

*edit again*
When this occurs, taking out the display port cable from the gpu, and putting it back in leads to no signal being output

Exact model? It's something like CMW32GX4M2E3200C16

And there's a version number written on the sticks, next to the voltage. What's the number?

MODEL : CMW16X4M2Z3600C18 version 3.30

I assume that you believe it's a RAM issue?
*edit* forgot to say on main post but amended now, but it's 8x4, so it's not in wrong slots or anything

With a Z in the modelnumber is Ryzen optimized. That's good.

You bought two separate kits. Both are version 3.30?

Test with just 1 kit in slot A2 and B2.

I won't try this just yet, since by pure luck I discovered that the chipset drivers weren't installed correctly, so I'll be testing that before taking out one of the pairs

I've noticed that the crashing doesn't seem to occur when I have d.o.c.p (xmp) disabled, any ideas?
