Sup guys, Im trying to make this thing work for my Asus B450M-PLUS Gaming motherboard, I tried both installing the .deb pack directly and the step by step guide from gitlab and non of those worked. The software recognizes the motherboard but I cant pick any of the options to turn on the lights.

If someone knows what Im missing or if there is a workaround for this I appreciate it.

I tried it on Mint and PopOS

Thanks

Sure

This message appears only when I run it with root

QStandardPaths: XDG_RUNTIME_DIR not set, defaulting to '/tmp/runtime-root'

Edit: I've started the server just to check if that works but nopes, still nothing (I have no idea what is this about though)

Network connection thread started on port 6742
Connected to server
Network client listener started
Network server started
Client: Received controller count from server: 1
Client: Requesting controller 0
Client: All controllers received, adding them to master list

That error would be expected since you ran it as root and you are not signed in to gnome as root. What ahppens if you run openrgb without sudo?
