Hello. I have noticed that my pc performs very bad in games like BF2042, Cyberpunk and warzone. I have a really hard time keeping a stable 60 fps on high settings in 1080p.

The GPU stays at around 40-60% usage and sits at 60 Celsius while the CPU is around 60% usage and peeks at 70 Celcius. I have tried benchmarking the system in both Userbenchmark and 3dmark and everything performed as it should.

All the Drivers are up date. It feels like something is bottlenecking the system or that it isn't being pushed to its limits.

What's your per core usage? Task Manager, more details, performance, right click graph and select change graph to logical processors.

You're probably bound by a core or two.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

You're most likely CPU bottlenecked. A 2700X is still pretty capable but could easily hold back a 3070.

You can try overclocking the CPU and RAM to reach maximum potential. Quitting other background apps would also help.

Did you upgrade anything in this system? With that CPU and GPU combo I assume you upgraded the GPU once, in which case you should've done a complete driver uninstall using DDU. If you haven't done that yet you can still do it.

Like already mentioned the CPU could be the bottleneck here. What you might be able to do for a little boost if you have not done so already is enable XMP in your bios for your memory but in the end it will not be a huge boost.

There aren't many subjects that benefit from binary takes on them in a discussion.

I agree with pixelfie and all about the 2700x

Is DOCP enabled?
You will gain a little performance there is you do.
You tried over clocking the CPU (if you have a good cooler you might have some headway) ?

Also, a 5600X will fit in you MOBO and you can probable get some cash back on the 2700X

I have used DDU i even completely wiped the computer after installing the GPU

Do you have XMP enabled? Your CPU bound, but there's a little left. See how 8 of the graphs are full and 8 are low? Your games aren't using the full CPU(Most aren't programmed to), and so you're limited by the speed of the cores and threads that are full.

If you have the cooling for it, some overclocking can help, but it's only going to help a little.

that sounds legit,

you could get GPU-Z

and look into the PerCap Reason.

Except they can't keep a stable 60fps. If FPS was 60 and staying there I'd think V-Sync.

I have xmp enabled the ram currently runs at 3200mhz. It might be time for me to upgrade the CPU but it feels like i should be getting a lot better performance with the one i got.
