so every single game except dark souls and skyrim crash on me after about two minutes of playing

 

the highest heat my computer gets is 73C before it crashes

 

it crashes in two minutes

it forces me to downclock and to ramp up the fan to 100%

 

I dont overclock. everything is at stock speeds

 

ITS BULLSHIT!!!

 

AMD 7950 3GB  XFX

 

AMD FX4300

1. Have you checked the thermal paste on your cpu to make sure it is properly applied?
2. Have you ran a prime95/Aida64 test on your hardware to check stability?
3. Are your drivers up to date?
4. Are you sure there are no overclocks?
5. Did you know that the 7950 is bottlenecked on a stock clock 4300?

Your CPU has a heatsink and fan on it to keep cool, it uses thermal paste to effectively transfer heat from the CPU to the heatsink to be exhausted.

If yo are serious id sell everything but the GPU. or if ur loaded just sell everything and get nvidia and intel. for less headaces

no im thinkin of giving up on pc all together

im 16 and ever since i got this ive had loads of problems

a ps4 would be so much easier

what do u think?

do whatever man, im not ur mom. obviously ur computer is prebought and filled with porn. id just get a new cpu and a heatsink overclock it and ur good to go.

ill make it easy for you..

The CPU you have, the brain is to small for the graphic card.

so you have to uppgrade it to get more performance from both ur components.

and im pretty sure a HEATSINK is self explainable?..

basicly you have stock exhaust on a 500hp engine if that made more sence.

I couldn't tell you, there's a million things, I'd have to have your PC physically to give you a real answer, even then I might not be able to do, it's... complicated, I hope you resolve the problem and can have a good experience.

Not sure if he is a troll or not, anyways the guy who build this pc or where you bought it ripped you off, i would ask him. Anyways working in a pc is really easy just watch tutorials on youtube.

 

But if you want you can sell it and get a ps4.

73 is normal amd temps. kek. besides we kinda established that the gpu is being bottlenecked also 4g of ram, if hes running max settings this is the reaosn. its not a driver problem its purely hardware. some classclown built the computer thats for sure. mix and match.

idk about 1 or 2

 

all i see is the game freeze and go to desktop

i have to ctrl alt del to close it in task manager
