Advice on best GPU for MSFS2020

Hey!

I built my PC a couple of months ago.

Specs are:

MB: ASUS B550M-PLUS  (WI-FI)

CPU:AMD RYZEN 5600G WITH RADEON GRAPHICS

RAM: 16GB DDR4-3600

SSD: CRUCIAL FORCE MP510 256GB

I had always intended to fit a discrete GPU at some point, and I purchased a used 980Ti which didn't work.

I want to buy a brand new GPU. I don't mind the OEM, as long as it:

a) Runs MSFS2020 @ 1080p Ultra 30+fps, Autodesk Inventor, and Davinci Resolve pretty good,

b) looks sleek, not flashy and 'gamer-y', and

c) doesn't cost more than £450 GBP

Also, if ASUS was the OEM, it would be preferred, but as I say, not mandatory.

I understand that these are tough times, but please give me some suggestions. I've spent hours on this, and all I want is a good PC.

Many, many thanks,

Cessna.

not only will this requirement be subjective but it will limit you to only lower end gpu's

actually during a silicon shortage these aren't very realistic expectations. I;d highly recommend trying again sometime in 2022-2023 when this could be possible to do.

I don’t know the price now, but I use a Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 VISION OC, and I also use it in DaVinci Resolve, and it works very good. It’s white, but there’s only one RGB light on the Gigabyte logo. I would recommend, but like I said, I don’t know the price now.

Thanks for that recommendation. I was considering that one as it is very recently priced on Scan.

It's an EVGA 650bq, 80+ Bronze 650W, Semi Modular

Not a great PSU with double forward on the primary and it's quiet old. Did you get it from a previous system or bought it new recently?
