Yes they have them, they have to tell the laptop how to adress the gpu on boot.

I would’ve suggested looking for a bios chip before buying a programmer, but that’s just me.

there should be a  8 pin chip somewhere that can fit inside the programmer. It’ll be newer the gpu die.

look at all those chips, see what’s portable and start googling part number and note the ones it can be. Then try to read the chips. The on that had the bios you flashed on it is the one to reflash
