I would get a 850w psu just for the extra headroom. It should be fine with a 750w psu but if you're going to heavely overklock I would advise you to get a 850w psu.

If you are in the US, both of the EVGA Supernova 750/850w PSU is in the same price range as the RM750/850, and there's a $10 rebate going on that effectively made it cheaper. It's, the EVGA, is a higher quality, better performing unit that offer a 10 year warranty. I would suggest that over what you are looking at.

I've decided to get the rm650 and buy a new psu when the time comes for Crossfire. Thanks for the help.

If you have a definite plan to CFX, then buy the higher wattage unit now. You are going to spend more as you have to buy the PSU twice and selling the first unit at a lost.
