Haptic Feedback System: Need audio tech knowledge help.

Video Beagle

I am designing some kind of feedback/haptic thingee.   Like, I'm not sure quite what I'm gonna do in the end.... hook it to a chair, maybe into some kind of cushion to be portable for different systems...but that'll come later.

Right now, I'm at this point in my diagram...Given the input source I have (the realtek out on my PC) and the output destination.. 2 x 8 Ohm shakers (basiclly speakers)...what should I look for as an amp in the center.

Specific answers are good, but something to help my understand in general would be better, so I can vary the number, or product on the Transducer side.

EDIT: (additional for the transducers shown: Specifications: • Power handling: 15 watts RMS/30 watts max • Impedance: 8 ohms • Re: 7.7 ohms • Le: 1.30 mH @ 1k Hz • Fs: 40 Hz • Usable frequency response: 20 to 80 Hz • )

Thanks for any help.

From my limited knowledge on bass transducers, I think you’re supposed to power them from a subwoofer amp with the crossover set as low as possible. You can buy standalone sub amps from places like parts-express or crutchfield. Parts-express should also have a video on how exactly to connect them.

Key words to search for are “plate amplifier”
