So I reinstalled windows on my laptop a few weeks ago and I've been getting tearing on my screen when doing things and then just now when I had VLC open running a video for a about 20 minutes it blue screens. Here's my laptop (got it for free) it's the i5-520m, Radeon HD Mobility 4330 version but with a 500 GB Seagate SSHD. I'm thinking it's the GPU either the drivers or it needing to be reflowed.

Is that the only information the BSOD showed?
Can you post your dmp file?

c:\windows\minidump

Alternatively you can use a dmp (bluescreen) viewer and post the info yourself

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html

Still do what Cubit481 said, but if you can give us more detail from that DMP file that would be helpful.

Ran a single meme test pass and every thing is fine, viewed the dump file and dxgmms1.sys and ntkrnlpa.exe crashed due to driver issue so I'm going to roll back to an older AMD driver and see if that fixes my problems.

run memtest to check whether ram has some errors or not...
