What do I buy??

Hey guys! I have been debating and wondering on what to buy. Should I go for the Pixel 4a 5g for $466 (SGD 629) or the Pixel 5a for $539 (SGD 729), yeah I know the prices are more, but these aren't available in Singapore in the first place so.. What do you suggest I get? I guess you could put me under the low-moderate use category. I only basically use my phone for online bookings, light photography and Social Media for maybe ~half hour a day, so I'm guessing either battery will et me through more than a day. I'm aware the Pixel 6 series is out, but they are not available here and through means I can get them, they are way too overpriced. I can only buy a Pixel 6 for more than the msrp of the Pixel 6 pro, so no thank you. What do I buy between these 2? Please help me out!!

The 5a is basically just the 4a 5G with a bigger battery. If both batteries will get you through the day, go with the cheaper one.

Damn you made it sound so simple lol. Yeah I guess I will go for the 4a 5g, I don't walk around in the rain so weather proofing ain't a big deal.

I read that their production has stopped, so maybe you only get one or none of them by now.
In my opinion, you dont need to spend that much money on a phone.
I use my phone for texting, Google Maps, taking pictures and sometimes web browsing.
Nowadays almost any phone can do that. The difference of expensive phones are fast processors for crazy gaming.
But if we dont use our phones for gaming, we dont need to spend much money.

I spend like 350 Euro or 405 $ or 546 SGD for my phone in 2019 and it still works fine.

Just make sure, it supports the android version, which your apps need to work.

It's more of a secondary phone for cameras and travel only. And last I know no ~$500 phone has a better camera than the Pixels. I do the heavy lifting on a different phone so.

But, I'm getting the 4a 5g for SGD 620, I think the 20 dollar difference is worth it no?

Yeah this is a good point, but in Lazada and Shopee it's around 650, it's lesser buying in offline shops.
