Choosing a GPU

I need help choosing a graphics card for my build, I haven't been following gpu releases for a few years now and don't have a good grasp of what's available in amds and nvidias lineup. 

 

I am just shooting for high 1080p performance because of the 240hz monitor i intended to get, and I'm just wondering what's the optimal card for my use case.

 

Currently in my country the 1080ti, 2070 and rx 5700 are similarly priced, other then those 3 i don't know what to look out for.

 

Any advice is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

If your main focus is gaming at 1080p I suggest a RTX 3060ti
