Hi there!

I built my pc last year in february, from what i can remember i had the problem ever since.

Since then i rebuilt the pc in a new case, with a new GPU and Motherboard. The problem remains or even a bit more frequent.

The problem: A lot of the times, when i boot my pc (let's say 75%), i get one of these problems:

- bsod with different error messages

- random shutdown after like 10 seconds.

- Login screen freezes

- freezes on the motherboard screen

When the pc automatically restarts or when i reset the pc, it just boots normally without any issue..

Some of the BSOD errors: KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE (Most common) / SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION / CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED / PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA /

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED / UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP / MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

First thing i had in mind was maybe something wrong with my Ram sticks. I tried the windows memory diagnostic tool, but detected no error. I tried memtest64, but when i came back after a few hours my screen was black and couldnt do anything... In the meantime i'll let it run again.

Second thing i had in mind was the PSU, because the recommended PSU Wattage for the RTX 3070 is 650W if i'm not mistaken. The only thing here is; i had the same problem with the RX590. Maybe something else related to the psu?

First build spec:

Windows 10 home

MSI B450 tomahawk max MB

Ryzen 5 3600x stock speeds and stock cooler

2x8GB Corsair vengeance RGB 3200 c16

AMD Radeon rx590

Samsung 970 EVO 1TB m.2 SSD - with windows on

Seagate Barracuda HDD 3.5" 1TB

Corsair RM650x PSU

Upgrade build: How the pc is now, same from above, but:

Upgraded MB to MSI B550 Gaming Carbon WIFI

Upgraded GPU for RTX 3070

I added the minidump files from the last 5 days.

If i need to provide more info please let me know 🙂

Thanks in advance

All those errors look to be Memory related. Go download and run Memtest86 with and without XMP enabled, but I suspect its a problem with Memory.

So, i finally finished the first run with XMP enabled. No errors to be found. I'll run with XMP disabled over night.

I add the log file, i dont know if it matters since it didnt detect any errors...
