I’m upgrading my current PC and needed to change cases since i went with an ATX board this time.  My issue is that the USB 3 cable that connects the ports on the front of the case won’t fit.  It’s not even close.  I can’t return the case, so should I could just trim the case to clear the cable.  Or is there a 90 degree adapter for this type of cable?

thanks guys

Yes they make all sorts of Right angle adapter. Just search, you'll find lots of options. They also make cable extensions with right angles on them.

If you cut the case, you'll have an unfinished, and rough edge. You'll have to deal with this some how. Especially as the bare metal may stick out since the rest of the case is colored.

I just noticed that A right angle adapter won’t work.  It would hit the GPU if it sticks out that way.

Actually that probably works to your advantage. The GPU would probably mostly hide some minor case trimming. This would be especially nice if you can't quite color match the paint if you try and touch up where you trim.
