Hi all, I recently started my first build but when I go to turn it on nothing happens, I have checked the front panel headers multiple times, and I know I got them right, my psu is on and plugged in and I have checked over all the other plugs multiple times, the only ones I am having some doubts about is the fans but I am sure I did them correctly as well. The specs are:

AMD B450M Mortar max motherboard

Ryzen 5 3600

RX 580 4gb

Samsung 970 evoplus m.2 500gb ssd

 2x 8gb ddr4 Corsair ram at 3000MHz

corsair CX550M psu

Stealth wraith cpu cooler

The case is an atx Silverstone fara b1 with the 4 fans it comes with.
If anyone has any ideas I can try or things to do differently, or something I might have messed up on the front panel header can you please tell me? Right now my theories are I accidentally shorted out the motherboard or some of the parts got damaged in shipping or they are just faulty parts.
Thanks all

Have you tried jumping the 2 pins of the power switch on the motherboard manually? use a screwdriver tip, or something metal to touch the 2 together. (make sure they are the right pins first!!)

Try the stupid simple things second, I have done the following on several occasions:

Double check the pins on the board, to the plug for the power jumper (should be labeled)

Check the power switch on the PSU (stupid but easy to miss)

Try a different power cord?

Check the fuse on the PSU?

Is the CPU seated correctly?

All of the above I have done at least once!

So nothings lights up, nothig moves. No power at all.
Let's try to eliminate some possible problems.

Do you have any working electronic device to check if there is power in the wall socket?

If the wall socket doesn't have power, your PC can't get any.

That's great. It can help to unplug them and plug them back in.

I don't know, how experienced you are, but it can't be bad to check the manual if you really connected all the wires correctly.

(M7B89v1.1-EURO.pdf (msi.com))

While you read the manual, check if the RAM sticks are in the right slots (2nd and 4th slot from the left)

In addition to what was said, check that you seated the fat power cable (24 pin) on the motherboard fully. I once did a build and panicked when nothing happened, actually I didn't press that cord down all the way because it was very tight. ( I know you said you checked, I did too. It was sneaky. )
