AX760/860i Cables

BCreation

Corsair made individually sleeved cables for the AX series. Do these work with the new AXi PSUs?

Good question. I know there is a kit for the 1200i, none for the others currently. from looking at the interface for the modular connectors between the 2(850 vs. 860i) it's hard to tell. I'd say either email corsair directly, or wait to see if they release new kits. I'm on the fence on whether it'd work or not.....

No they don't. Corsair changed OEM's from Seasonic to Veiwsonic which means that the cables are of a different standard, on top of that they are keyed differently so you can't mix them up.

Corsair 600T White | Gigabyte Z77-UD3H | Intel Core i5-2500k | 8GB Gskill Ares@1600MHz | Gigabyte G1 GTX970 | OCZ ZT 550 | Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB | Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB | Samsung 840 EVO 250GB (boot) | Full Custom Loop | NZXT HUE

Corsair didn't change (they use four OEM PSU builders) builder, the newer i-series is built by Flextronic because Seasonic could

not suply at time of release the digital stream for the PSU. Seasonic still makes PSU for Corsair in the AX760/86 (non-i version)

eventually, Seasonic will have a digital line as well, but Corsair has one now through Flextronic.

no the standard AX cables are different than the newer i-series cable sets. both in connector and pinout.

but the new AX 760/860 (non-i series) still use the AX cable kits.

Ebay possibly? Corsair don't sell individual, individually sleeved cables, at least i don't think they do. :)
