My birthday is near (25 April) and I need a TV, my budget is 500 euro/dollar.

 

Use:

- Watching TV (HD)

- Later on gaming on a PS4

- Watching movies

 

Needs to be 40 inch at least. Max. 47,52

 

I want a Smart TV and 3D. Should I wait for WebOS from LG?

 

Buying from The Netherlands, although you can show me American sites.

I have no specific recommends other than I've had really good experiences with Samsung.  Their panels are good quality, I have one as do several of my friends and we're all happy with them.

i am stuck with a meter cable and i only have limited choice to where i can keep my pc

To be perfectly honest, at least in the USA and Canada, you'll be hard pressed to find a QUALITY TV that fits all those categories for $500. Now for 500 euro, (Just under $700 right now), you might be able to get one.

 

The only thing I can suggest is stay away from low quality or non-name brand TV's. There's always some sort of compromise (bad quality components, low life expectancy, or just plain bad picture quality). And for the love of god, stay away from those Seiki 4K TV's that people suggest now and then.

 

Try taking a look at these:

 

1. Samsung UN40F6300 40" 120hz 1080p WiFi LED Slim Smart HDTV - $677.99 USD

 

2. LG 47LM6400 47-in Class Cinema 3D LED 1080P 120HZ LED TV with SmartTV - $675.00 USD

 

I personally very much prefer Plasma TV's over LCD (CCFL or LED), as I find the picture quality and motion playback far superior, but to get one that is both 3D and SmartTV, you're looking more around $800 USD like this:

I actually have an LG Plasma TV (50PA6500) and it's fracking awesome.
