Need a Video Card for Acer Predator Z35P with a new PC build. Suggestions?

Need Help!

 I am working on building a New PC build over 2022 (cpu the intel 12700k )  I am not rich and have to piece meal -my issue I have a Acer Predator Z35P - I need a card I can afford. grand or less...

Current card will not work with new build -  nvidia gtx 960 2gb

 

Question - I am still going to have to use Nvidia over say AMD 6090xt?

I want my best performance Acer Predator Z35P - any suggestions ? Currently,

This will be my last component to buy before I build it. So I have a year.  

My monitor is totally my baby and g-sync is nice - can any help me get a great card that will run my baby and keep my performance?

If you want g-sync it'll have to be nvidia.  I'd say about a 70/70 ti or super for 60Hz or an 80/80 ti or super for 120Hz.  if raytracing is a thing go for 30 series over 20
