So ive had this problem where when i boot up my computer. it would boot into the screen where it would show who made your motherboard etc. but then it wouldnt boot into windows. i found a fix for this i just had to unplug and plug in the power-supply connector.

so my question is do anyone have the same problem and what should i do to prevent this problem in the future. should i buy a new power supply or maybe even a new motherboard?

Power-supply: Energon 750w PSU

Motherboard: intel BLKDZ77SL50K

(ask for more information if needed)

(this only happends every half year or so)

Thanks in advance

I would suggest RMA'ing both. If you're not sure and don't have the tools to test.

You could post more details about how exactly it wouldn't boot.

Try reseting your CMOS ->    Unplug your computer, remove battery from motherboard and leave it for few minutes, then fit battery back and try to turn your computer on.

You should try upgrading your BIOS/UEFI to the latest version available.

Also you could write which message your computer shows when it fails/refuses to boot the OS.

Error may be up to faulty motherboard or BIOS.

Except if we could identify exact problem.

Do your computer shows that non bootable device is found when problem occurs?

If this is confirmative, then your HDD is probably failing.

i have upgraded the bios/uefi there is no text. The HDD is not failing what so ever im am sure on that. it doesnt say that theres any error it just sits there with an INTEL logo i cant press F5 F7 F9 or F11

and btw the reason i think its the power supply is because that when this "ERROR" occures i just have to unplug the powersupply and plug it back again. from what i know i think it might be delivering power wrongly. who knows

Please disconnect all perfiferal devices from your computer and try again.

PSU - Maybe, but not likely.

You should test it with power supply tester or manually with a multimeter.
