Hello so I’ve been having trouble with my pc crashing while playing games when it didn’t before, so my favorite game to play is phasmophobia and for the first 2 months or so of having my prebuilt pc it ran the game great, but now the game will just freeze or exit out on its own. When it freezes I’m able to press the windows key and manually exit the game, I’ve noticed this happens even when playing a low demanding game like Roblox. I’ve tried clearing bios, restoring the pc, updated drivers and it still didn’t fully fix the problem, I just don’t get why it played good and now It’ll crash either within 5 minutes of me playing or after a while. And also my temps aren’t to high. I know the pc isn't too powerful but like I said it ran games good before.

Its a cyberpower prebuilt received July 7th

Try with 8GB dimm only.

Update motherboard BIOS.

The PSU is not a bomb but it's not great either.

So i think you were correct about the ram because I took out the 4 gb stick and was able to play for 2 hours straight, does this mean the ram is dead or is it just not working well with me pc

could be that Windows simply doesn't like the mismatch in size.
