BIOS update

Rakkzo

Hello!

I know there are a lot of mixed opinions about this topic and I cannot really decide what to do.

Right now my PC seems to be stable and running fine overall. But my current version is a bit behind the latest release a bit. Looking at the manufacturer's release notes it seems to be a lot improvements and fixes in the newer releases. Would I generally benefit from updating my mobo BIOS to the latest or should I just stay with the current version?

Mobo: ASUS ROG STIX B550-E GAMING

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600x

Memory: Corsair 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200Mhz CL16 Vengeance LPX

GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB GAMING OC PRO V3

SSD NVMe M.2: Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB

SSD 2.5": WD Blue 3D NAND SSD 500GB 2.5"

Current BIOS version: 1401

Latest BIOS version: 2423

Thanks in advance!
