If you want to save more money, you don't need that power supply. Unless you'd plan on adding a gpu down the line for games or whatever, something like a 450-550w unit will do. Something like the EVGA BQ perhaps

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly school work and web browsing, content consumption, vm. Not playing any games rn

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): 

First pc. Coming from laptop. I'll deal with peripherals later.

No reason to buy a gpu, just use the integrated gpu on the 10600k
