My girlfriend has an iPhone with the thunderbolt plug. I was considering getting an iHome just to call it a day but I figured I'd ask you guys and see if she can get some more power than that for about $50. I was hoping to be able to use a headphone jack as input so when her friends come over they can use their phones no matter what with this system. Any ideas?

iHome 2014. Just get her a nice one.

Well not all of her friends have a thunderbolt plug on their phones is why I was seeing if there were any other solutions.

Thunderbolt?? iPhones use Lightning.

Those Logitechs are not a great deal. I think they're discontinuing them so there's a supply shortage. They used to be $30 and sometimes lower than that for sales. 

 

If you can stretch your budget a bit, a Lepai 2020A+ amp and Pioneer SP-BS21 are great. I'm trying to think of something less expensive.
