Hey, I'm trying to upgrade my Pc. 

I'm currently running

CPU: AMD A10-7700K Radeon R7, 10 Compute Cores 4C+6g

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650

Motherboard: ASUS A58M-E 

 

So I thought I would upgrade the CPU.

I have already found a good deal on an used Intel Core i5-9400F and would now like to know wich motherboard to use.

 

Is it possible to an ASRock B365M-HDV? 

 

And are there any problems I have to watch out for except having to possibly update my bios and buying new ram?

Like do I have to reinstall Window or something after building the new pc?

The Intel Core i5-9400F is validated on this motherboard for BIOS version 4.00 and later. Guaranteed support starting with this BIOS. Possible prior support, considering there are other U0 chips validated for all BIOS's.

 

DDR4 RAM is be required. Reinstalling your OS is heavily reccomended.
