Resolution is incorrect when I start my computer

Hi I have a issue with my computer

I currently have a 1440p monitor (LG UltraGear 27 27GP83B-B) and a rx580 using a DisplayPort cable

when I turn on my computer before it boots to windows (asrock motherboard load screen) the resolution is around 800p, once the computer boots to windows the resolution is correct goes to 1440p

I was wondering how I would be able to fix the resolution before booting, I tried reinstalling GPU drivers with ddu in safe mode but no luck

Thanks for any suggestions

That kinda just happens on ASRock boards. You might get it to work by turning on "HD BIOS Screen" or whatever it's called, but that's a stretch and I personally wouldn't put more effort than that into fixing it. It happens on my X570 Taichi as well.
