i didn’t really know what to put this issues under so sorry if it’s in the wrong category, my brother had this issue with his computer a few years ago that it would keep hard freezing so he tried to reinstall windows and somewhere along the lines it got messed up and he never got it fixed, fast forward now and he gave me the computer, we bought a new motherboard expecting that to be the issue and it wasn’t, when trying to install windows it keeps freezing and nothing will fix it, he’s tried removing hard drives switching them, and i’ve tried removing a stick of ram and trying to get a new windows install, nothing has seemed to work, i’m hoping there’s a solution because this is my first major computer upgrade and i would actually like to use this computer and not have to change everything about it.

specs are, core i7 8700k, 16gigs ram, msi mpg z390 gaming plus motherboard, 2x 3tb hard drives, and a 1060.
