Hello everyone,

My cousin has always wanted a new desktop for gaming (mostly first person shooters), streaming, some video editing, and for general browsing and schoolwork (will be used as main PC at home). He has wanted me to make a list for him, I want to know your opinions on it and what I should change. I appreciate the help. Here's the list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/RqzQXb (Parts Unlisted: HyperX Quadcast S RGB, NZXT Internal USB Hub, NZXT RGB and Fan Controller, Extended Displayport Cable, USB Drive, Asiahorse Sleeved Cable Extensions)

The only thing I would change is the 970 evos u are spending 400 bucks for 2 to of nvme I would recommend getting a 1tb 970 and a hard drive or something completely different other then that pretty good choices in my book

if you want more capacity for the same price there are 2tb m.2s from WD for 260$ AUD but good list

The price is around $300 USD (more like $290 USD right now) for these two. $260 AUD is about $187 USD.

It is a small price increase for 2 extra terabytes it is also slightly slower but 2 extra terabytes for like 30 bucks more is worth it  for a

I also think 7 fans is overkill 4 is sufficient i also agree on upgrading case to like a 011 mini or smth with better airflow

H710i is a hotbox, look for a case with a mesh panel instead.

a 5800X would give you a better upgrade path and be just as good.
