Bluetooth issue

My Bluetooth has been behaving weirdly over the last two years or so that I had my Huawei P10 lite. It functions like normal for some time (ranging from a week to a month) and then it starts stuttering and skipping to where it should be because the music runs slower than it should. Videos on YouTube are also affected. If I restart my phone it works again for some time between a week and a month and then it starts all over again. What could this be caused by? Is there like a memory leak? My memory usage basically never exceeds 3 out of 4 Gigabytes my phone has. It is running Android 8 since Huawei messed something up two years ago and is not allowed to put Android on their devices anymore and therefore Updates too. Is there some way to fix it or do I have to stick with this?
