because the 5000G series CPUs are so new, I highly recommend a motherboard with BIOS flashback to update the firmware, there is a very small chance that you will purchase a motherboard with the appropriate version. Especially for B450

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

I suggest getting a B550 board so the CPU has a bigger chance working out of the box. Also, the PSU is fine for a integrated GPU system, but probably not if you want to get an RTX 3000 card or something like that.

RTX  30 seriess card? Not happening for me in 20 years probably

I see. What GPU do you plan to get? A used one? Still I recommend a 80 Plus Gold PSU from a good brand. Check the PSU tier list on this forum. Most 80 Plus Bronze PSUs are pretty average for the quality.

That seems like a good board. Basically any Asus Prime B550 board is fine and has all the connectors you usually need.

Doesn't seem to support BIOS Flashback (at least I don't see the option). In this case you run the risk of not being able to update the BIOS without a CPU installed. Since the 5000G series is so new, it may very well not be compatible with the 5600G out of the box.

No that board is terrible. You can get an MSI B450-A PRO for that amount.

Or if you want matx then the B450M Mortar MAX.

https://de.pcpartpicker.com/product/h7WBD3/msi-b450m-mortar-max-micro-atx-am4-motherboard-b450m-mortar-max

Both have bios flashback so no cpu needed to update it.

It is definitely not a good board. The VRM is terrible.

Oh right. It's the K version with the worse VRM. The good versions are the one ending with A, Plus and Pro versions. This applies to B450 and B550 models, also the X chipsets of Prime are pretty decent.

The warnings on pcpartpicker are not always correct. Both boards are compatible with that cpu. Also both boards have HDMI on the rear I/O. The Mortar also has DisplayPort.

As for the first one not working with the case that is because you swapped to a microATX. The one in your original list was ATX. If you are going with the Deepcool case then the B450M Mortar MAX would be the board to go with.

Did you look at the link I posted ?

Here is a screenshot of the B450M Mortar that clearly shows the R5 5600G. So yes it is compatible. You can also put the Mortar in an ATX case if you want.
