Alright, I have a HP Pavilion - TP01-1105t and I’ve been wanting to upgrade it with a new psu and gpu.

This prebuilt only has 150 watts since it has intergraded graphics (intel UHD 630)

I want to upgrade the psu to 400 watts but it’s non upgradable with EVGA or any other kind of psu, it’s a certain kind of HP power supply. I know that I can add the 1050 Ti which is the gpu I wanna add.

if you have any suggestions or help I’ll take it.

I would also like some motherboard suggestions for a intel i3 10100 because i plan on making something better eventually.

thanks. I’m on a very tight budget

I do think it is possible to either upgrade the PSU for another HP unit or a whole different PSU, if you go regular brand for a PSU then I would suggest finding one that is small enough and has an adapter for the power connectors on the Motherboard. I could not find an adapter for that model but I have seen them before.

As for a new PC entirely I have made 2 lists, one Intel and one AMD below, they are the same except the CPU & MB...

It should be, just make sure it's a good Power Supply. Not one if you want it to fail, Here is a list of good brands to go for. For the most part Be Quiet, Corsair, Cooler Master, and some EVGA units are good but mostly in higher costs. Some of this list came from the Linus Tech Tips Power Supply Tier List and some from Amazon.

BE QUIET Power Supply ATX 400W System Power 8

be quiet! Pure Power 11 400W Modular, 80 Plus Gold

Corsair CV Series, 450 Watt, 80+ Bronze

Corsair SF Series, 450 Watt, SFX, 80+ Gold Certified, Fully Modular Power Supply

Cooler Master Watt 650 Watt Modular, 80 PLUS Bronze Certified

Standard ATX PSU is not gonne work with a HP Pavillion. Case, motherboard and PSU are all proprietary and 12v only. HP has a 500w 12vO PSU that fits. The partnumber is HP L05757-800
