I have an old Dell Optiplex 7010 with an i5 3470 and currently with a RX 560 4GB (the gpu has been in the system for 2 years at this point). I took a break for about a month and didn't even turn on my computer for the month and now after it, whenever I turn it on it randomly freezes to the point where the only option of turning it off is the power button. After it is turned off and rebooted, it doesn't boot for probably 5 to 10 mins(The power button lights up and all the fans spin but the hard drive light doesn't light up). After around 10 minutes it turns on normally. Firstly I thought it was a hard drive issue therefore I switched it out for a new one however the issue still persists. I was told by someone it could be a gpu overheating problem so I have set up a pretty aggressive fan curve and have monitored that the temperatures doesn't go above 55C when gaming. Dell PSUs have this built in self test and mine passes that as well. I only play CSGO and Valorant btw which are not very heavy on the hardware imo. I have done a complete fresh windows install however the issue is still there.

Please do help me and solve my issue.

TIA

Did you replace the battery on the motherboard after it being shut down for so long?  Just curious.

No. Should I? . Also it turned out to be a gpu overheat issue after all. I did stress tests and it appears to be crashing at 65C. I have no idea why though it suddenly is reaching that temp even with the fans all the way on and I did clean it btw. I'm now thinking of replacing the thermal paste and pads of the card. I hope it will solve it
