Hey guys!

I handled my cloud stuff over SSHFS so far which was very nice, fluent and stable.

Recently, in order to let some friends use it as well, I set up a nextcloud-server which is used mostly over the web-page, sometimes over webDAV.

Now I wonder whether the encryption is good enough. I've read SSH is secure a.f. using keys, but I can't seem to grasp the level of security up/downloading something just over HTTPS has.
Which information is sent? Is it personal data? How about the content of the download? Is any middle-man able to read what data has been transfered?

I know there's a lot on the internet about this but I've yet failed to understand it anyway.

Hope someone can help me with that.
Thanks in advance,
Arokan
