I recently obtained my moms old computer when she upgraded it. The computer was sitting around in storage for a while, and now that it is out, I cut it on to try and find out what was in it. The computer would start up, all the fans when spin up, but I cant get any output. Its a pretty old system, but I cant figure out why it is doing it. All the accessories plugged into it cut on for about 1 second, and then cut back off. However, whenever I plug something into the graphics card, all of the accessories get power again for 1s, then cut back off. This is completely baffling me. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Sounds like some kind of short. Reseating the power connections to the motherboard might help.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

Maybe try reseating the connections and power cables. It may be a short.
