Other details

needs atleast 1 hdmi outputs to go to my hdmi splitter.

kogan has some PCs that i have looked at but my friend brought one for $500 and had to upgrade the graphics card at an additional $400 which now runs his machine smoothly but I’d rather just either build or buy but not really sure what parts would be best to stay on budget or if one of the machines on a site like Kogan would be okay with an i5 or an AMD ryzen 3 or if there is others better suited in this price range.
I have no idea.

I can put it all together tho but buying pre built is also okay too.

I have no idea what site "Kogan" is, or how reputable it is, but in the current pricing climate, a 4K/VR capable machine for 1k$ AUD is basically impossible. You'd probably have to pay that for the GPU alone.

Yeah, Even 3060TI might struggle with 4K, Amd that's more than 1000AUD right now.
