Hey so i have my build which is an I7 10700k with an rtx 2070 and ram 1 stick from idk which brand which is a 16gb 3000mhz and ram from 1 stick corsair vengeance 8gb 3000mhz. Would that setup on a Asus B460F mother board cause issues for me and potentially system latency. I have a 240hz benq monitor.

Certainly possible. if the memory chips don't like each other may not even boot. It's best to buy a complete kit rather than getting sticks separately .

Yes, you gonna have to dial the speed and voltage on your own which you cant even do in B460 board (you gonna want B560)

You'll be running in single channel mode. But other than that, run a quick memory diagnostic by searching "Windows Memory Diagnostic" in the Start menu and letting that run. If it completes without any errors, you can be 99% sure it'll be stable.

I personally am running 24GB with 3 sticks of 8GB DIMMs so inherently, mixing memory isn't a disastrous situation. Just sub-optimal. But in general, you're going to be leaving some performance on the table by not running a dual channel configuration.
