Disassemble my gpu

Osmane888

Hey guys !

So i've been considering for a long time to remove the fans of my gpu to replace them for noctua fans to make my system a bit quieter and hopefully my gpu cooler during gaming but i don't know if there's any pieces of metal which gonna be in the way of the new fans despite searching quite a lot on internet, now my question is does anyone did it for the same gpu ?
Btw my gpu is an EVGA SC Ultra RTX 2060 Super

This you can forget,

You could check if there's any third party cooler available, like from Arctic

Or you could just improve the airflow in the case

I'm willing to swim against the current.

Yep i'm aware i'll have to remove the shroud but i have nothing to cut down pieces of metal so i don't want to disassemble my gpu just to find out i can't install new fans on it

Unfortunately it's way too expensive for me

you can secure them with zipties or sth

I use hot glue usually in the four corners. Just make sure it's proper hot glue and not hot glue that melts at 100c because on a gpu that can cause it to weaken quickly.

Depends how. If you tear them in layers then yeah they are for the bin. If you just rip them apart then totally fine to just put it back on where the tear happened.

Well my plan was to just remove the shroud with the fans but not remove the heatsink
