Hi guys, I'm planing to build a gaming PC I'm almost done chosing parts however I still need some advices on the parts that I dont know much about. This is what I have so far:

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3jDr4d

These parts are not strictly the final ones so advices and changes are welcome. As you can see storage, graphics card and power suply are the ones that are left I have a vague idea of what I want other than that I'm clueless

- For the storage I want it 1TB and M.2

- For the power suply I want it modular

- And for the graphicst card I want a RTX 3060 Ti (I know there are not available right now)

Way more cooler than is needed with that cpu and case.  There’s actually a cooler that comes with the 3600x (now 5600x) for free.  It’s not great but it works. Is there a budget here?  Seems like a budget rig since you’re choosing an older 6 core.  Nation of origin is also important as it affects prices and availability.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

You dont really need a AIO for the 5600X. A cheaper air cooler will be plenty, even the stock cooler will do OK. Save that money for other parts.

For PSU, never go for the cheap ones, go for a 80+ gold or better from brand with good reputation like Corsair or Seasonic. But do research on the actual units, check reviews and the PSU tier list here on the forums. No brands are magic.

650W should do plenty for that system

My budget is around $1.5k USD but can be lowered for the cooler, which one do you recommend?

So USA$1500 location USA?  There are I think 3060tis theoretically available in USA just not anything directly from Nvidia. Afaik an FE of the card was never made.  just stuff from board partners. Actually may be different if course.  One question still with me is the RGB thing.  The original cooler had some rgb on it as did the memory.  Rgb can (but doesn’t always) add “bling” to a system but costs money while not changing performance at all.  Is rgb something you just kind of fell into? Or is it something you specifically want and are interested in getting a slower machine in exchange for?

FE for 3060Ti was made, but not for the 3060.

You can get a 3060 btw, but not for a great price. I would recommend something like a GTX 1660 SUPER, if you want to build right now.

Here are my suggestion leaving ca. $700 for GPU. In that department you just have to take what you can get within budget
