Android sync program (htc sync broken)

Hey guys, 

I recently got my htc one back from repair and they already updated it to kit kat for me so I go to plug it my pc and sync files but htc sync constantly crashes when it starts, tired uninstalling it and re-installing but it did not resolve the issue. So I was wondering if there are any other android sync managers that would work or is there programs like dropbox that only sync files via the home network as I don't have my data on my mobile plan.

Have you used CCleaner -> Clean Registry  before reinstalling the sync again? usually settings and stuff is saved if you don't use CCleaner or something comparable ^^
