Intel or amd for minecraft?

i am looking at amd and intel cpus for my build and i want to record edit and play some gmaes 
i mainly play minecraft but when i get my new pc i will sometimes play fortnite and i think that intel may be better for minecraft 
but for editing and fortnite and recording maybe i should go for amd

like i need to change the cpu cooller

If that's a system you seriously intend to buy/build, it will be seriously wasted with a 1080p resolution monitor.

What do you need 200-300 FPS for?

When I was a kid, I played minecraft with a quad core and something like a GTX 1030

I think both, Intel and AMD will be faster than your eyes can see on your 240 Hz monitor.

A 5800X and a 3080TI for minecraft? That's a bit overkill don't you think? AMD is the better choice though

You're already spending 2700$ At this point it doesn't really matter. Check this tier list to find one with decent VRM's. B550's are good price to performance compared to the X570's so I'd buy a Asus ROG Strix B550-E or a Gigabyte Aorus B550 Pro AC

2X16. You will have more headroom to upgrade with zero to very VERY less performance loss (unnoticeable)

2x16, there's no benefit of wasting those 2 slots with DDR4

and i am thinking of buying a 3080 but those are pretty expensive rn and i am looking to buy htis pc in november so i dont think the prices are goinge down so i am thinking of buying a 3070 instead

You are just going to play minecraft with it anyway so why not buy a a 3060ti and a 5600X? That's still way too overkill for minecraft but it will be a lot cheaper

Dude you can run both fortnite and minecraft on integrated graphics, you're wasting hundreds of dollars

You don't need a 3080TI to record a good video. Even a 1050ti-1060 are probably overkill but a good bet

Really doesn't matter, you can play Minecraft fine on a potato.

 

My daughter plays on an i3-8350k and a 1060 3gb it's fine
