I have this idea of making of program that can find products on the ebay website and gives you a value on how well they sell taking the history into account.  There is a feature which shows you sold listings however it is a very manual arduous process and I have an idea that if it can be slightly automated it could make a slightly higher chance of turning a profit.

 

Taking this into account I would also like to make a feature that shows the percentage ebay takes (final value fee 12.8%) and roughly how much of a gap (or margin) you need to make a profit. For example if you buy a product say 300 + 10 for shipping the cost associated in getting the product is 310; selling the product is a different matter as you have to take tax, ebay fees and shipping as well as market value price for the product which if your not careful you could unknowingly be making a loss. Say the product sells for 320 + 10 for shipping, with no calculations used it looks like a gain of 10 however after ebay cut of 12.8 you actually have lost 22.24 (not including taxes)

 I have no experience coding and was wondering if there was anyone that could help me on this. Cheers
