No Display Until In Windows

Go to solution Solved by MadGoatHaz,

Is there a video output option on your motherboard?

Somehow your bios seems to have reverted some settings. If there is an onboard video option (generally nowadays this is dependant on the CPU being used and if it has an integrated GPU), try to plug a monitor into the motherboard display output and enter the bios. You'll then be able to select the default GPU you'd like to use.

If this is not applicable to you and you are using only discrete GPU, try to reset your bios via your motherboards manual reset (either a jumper or micro button generally located near the button cell battery on the motherboard). Hopefully this will allow you to regain access to your bios to then reconfigure accordingly.

Best of luck

Recently there was a storm in which took out power in my area very breifly, at the most 3 seconds. My home is on a generator but at the time of this short power outage, my pc was on and actively being used, both of my moniters turned off, my pc stayed on, and the moniters turned back on (repeat 2x). Ever since then, i have not been able to acess my computer's UEFI Bios, i can power on my pc and spam home and F2 and my pc will stay on but not display anything, i need to hold the power button to turn it off. If i try and boot without spamming home or F2 i can get into windows just fine and continue on my day, but before I get into windows, 0 display not even the manufacturer logo or the guide on how to enter bios.

My cpu does not have integrated graphics but my motherboard does have onboard hdmi, Somehow plugging the hdmi into my motherboard and keeping all display port cords plugged in, worked and i got display on my Gpu connected Display. On a new test to see if it works without the hdmi plugged into onboard, same issue, really weird but now i have a solution i appreciate your help.
