M.2 Heatsink

I just got a crucial P5 NVMe M.2 SSD, and it came with a free Heatsink. Am I supposed to remove the label on the m.2 before (shown in the attached image) i stick on the heatsink, or can i just stick the heatsink onto the m.2 sticker

 

And finally do you even recommend using the heatsink?

if the manufacture includes it, it probably wouldn't hurt anything. it should be fine to directly put the heatsink on the sticker.

Alright cool thanks, btw just to clarify, the retailer not the manufacture included it.

No, you don’t have to remove the label, you would remove the warranty.
