professional Pc?

Go to solution Solved by Heisenbleurgh,

compared to an average gaming pc, an editing computer will need:

  • a more powerful cpu - multi threading helps a lot
  • more/faster ram (+16GBs)
  • more storage (+2-3TBs maybe?)
  • larger SSDs for heavy applications like photoshop and other video editing software
  • less flashy LEDs, red color schemes, dragons and such (lol)

I am gonna ask for a big favor!

In my school,They asked us to make our own websites, and everyone had to chosse a theme.

I picked "Graphic cards"...because i was researching to buy one,so in 2 months,i learned almost everything.

So,the problem is,that in my website,i have a section that has computer "Builds".

I have 3 themes,Gaming,Office,and editing,

The thing is, that i dont know what a editing Computer needs,so... i have to ask help from you guys

In google, there are Builds with old components or even worst.

I need,to learn what a  editing computer is,what is special about them, and what do they require.

Then,if you can post some Builds,to put on my website.

And if you are kind enough Check out my website,(i do not make any profit,i dont even know how that works) but keep in mind That i am Grek and my english isnt the best(thats why the Greek Words in my files.) (the link is to my dropbox,Nothing to be afraid of.)

The section that i need help is the Agora.html

I made it with notepad++

and its my first website, oppinions and corrections are really needed :)

(I am not sure if i am allowed to post links for downloads, but let me know.)

Thanks ALOT!

Editing computers require more RAM than a gaming rig would need ( 8GB for gaming, 16GB+ for editing ).

Also editing computers would be much better with large SSDs instead of HDDs and a 4770k for an editing rig instead of a 4670K which is perfect for gaming ( Intel wise )

And besides that, an editing rig doesn't need a super high end GPU while a gaming rig benifits from a high end GPU.
