Controller (PS2 games on PS3)

Hi,

When I play PS2 games on my PS3. I can only connect two controllers. Is there a way to connect more than 2 controllers.

Thank you

No, as the PS2 has only 2 controller ports. This means the game isn't programmed to use more than 2 controllers.

I tried Downhill Domination - upto 4 players

SmackDown HCP - upto 6 players.

The fact remains that the PS2 had only 2 controller ports and could only use 2 controllers. So there is nothing you can do.

I mean, no. Games that had more than two local players used the Multitap which was a thing for the PS2 as well as the PS1 lmao

In theory you should just be able to have 4 controllers connected and assigned to "ports" 1 through 4 and it'd work. But it's never worked all that well as I recall so you may just be boned.
