Hi there,
I recently started running into some problems with my cheap mouse (ORYX M400). The mouse randomly connects and disconnects from the pc. I tried to fix this problem, but came to the conclusion, that there's probably a problem with the mouse itself. So I need a new mouse, but I don't really know where to start. I have pretty big hands, use a palm grip, and prefer a heavy mouse over a lightweight one. Also looking for a mouse that has an excellent sensor and one that doesn't cost that much (<60$). I just don't know how should I start. Where should I look, browse, etc.? What sites would you recommend? What mice would you recommend? On what other aspects of a mouse should I look out for?

I was in the same situation, but then realised that heavy mice are really not something you can "prefer", but instead you just get used to. Once you're used to a lighter mouse, it's better in my experience. My hands are also very large and I use a palm grip too.

Personally I'm now using a G703, which has the perfect shape for me. But that's really the problem with recommending mice - it's very subjective. So imo you should go to a store and simply try out a few different mice to see how they fit your hand. Or try out some of the mice your friends have. A friend of mine bought a G703 after he tried mine.
