okay, I've got an odd one, hopefully easy.

I've just purchased an Asus TUF B550-plus.
and I have a Corsair AX860 PSU. (modular)

I'm upgrading my PC (mobo, cpu, and ram).

I think i've made the mistake of assuming my PSU will be compatible because it's newer...

I cannot seem to be able to plug more than just half of the CPU power into the Motherboard.

The user guide for the Motherboard calls the power connector an EATX12V.

I've attached pictures of my psu plug as well as the diagram in the user manual.

My question is this: is there perhaps a cable I can purchase so that I can continue to use my platinum PSU or... do I have to get a different one? :'(

And if i can get a cable, what would it be called?
[I ask because the manual says: "Ensure to connect the 8-pin power plug." so I'm certain it's not going to work as currently configured (with only 4 of the pins plugged in)]
