My Asus x570 is completely dead once I installed Zotac 3060. I thought it might be an issue with my crossair psu but I tested it by shorting pins 4 and 5 and it worked fine.
the motherboard is not even powering up, I tired removing components to isolate something faulty but nothing has helped so far.

any suggestions

I suggest a new motherboard, knowing full well it might be bricked if there's something wrong with that GPU. If it does brick the new one, then at least you know the GPU's bad.
