I needed help deciding between two mice.

The Delux M800DB (https://www.deluxworld.com/en-pro-detail-m800db-3335.html)

vs

the Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed (https://www.razer.com/gaming-mice/razer-basilisk-x-hyperspeed/RZ01-03150100-R3U1)

The sensors:

PMW3335 vs PMW3369

I have found both at the same price ($36 or S$49), so I'm not sure what to get lol.

Will be happy if you can help me choose!

Lol the basilisk looks like a 1:1 G502 ripoff.

The shape is so different that the preference really comes down to what is more comfortable for you.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Thanks! I was wondering which sensor was better too lol. But yeah ig realistically there won't a noticeable difference. I just hope the wireless is fine on both! I have ( and still ) use the G502. This is for gf and she doesn't want to spend a lot. She uses a claw/palm grip, what shape do you think will be better?

Just let her use your mouse and ask how the shape feels. If she likes it, the Razer one should be a great fit.

@StahlmannApparently the switches in the Razer one are not good?? Heard many people complain of double clicking and loose switches. Do you think i should still go for it?

There are a lot of good mice that i heard can have issues with double clicking etc. Even the G502 is affected by this. But 3 of the 5 mice i had in the last few years were "prone" to having this issue, but none of them showed any signs. I'd say this double clicking stuff is blown out of proportion.

Hmm interesting, because I was reading another post which said that the Omron 50 Mil switches used in the razer mouse were actually pretty prone to the doubleclicking, whereas the delux one has Kailh ones. So confused haha

Well think about it this way: "50 Mil" switches are validatd to 50 million clicks. That means that at least 50% of the tested switches were able to reach 50 million clicks before showing any defects.
