Can one emulate Logitech Infinity Scroll with a macro?

i want my Logitech scroll wheel to stay, with my G502, but i might want a new mouse later down the road and there really ain't any options, can one use software to increase scroll sensitivity?

You can increase scroll distance but really scroll sensitivity is hardware based.
