Half gpu bandwidth

Can someone help? my potato gt 1030 is like half its memory bandwidth in gpu z.I even tried overclocking but only got to 9.8Gb/s.I bought the ddr4 one cuz i was dumb but in nvidia's site it says its supposed to be 16.8Gb/s also without overclock its exactly half.

it is normal. DDR is douple data rate so your actual memory speed is 2x8.4gb=16.8gb

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

ok but its also normal that this doesnt happen to other people? why do i see some people with the full 16.8gb or even the full 48gb on the gddr5 model does it depend on something?
