usb device not reconised

i recently upgraded my computer by installing a mpg b550 gaming carbon wifi motherboard, and a gtx 1070. ever since I get a constant notification popping up saying usb device not recognised. I've tried windows troubleshooting , going in device manager and uninstalling the usb bus with an error and reinstalling it  but didn't help. have also checked driver and updated them.ie my chipset drivers . any help on how to get rid of the annoying issue would be much appreciated
